Ingredients

  • 600 g (1 1/3 lbs) pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • All-purpose flour, as needed
  • 80 ml (1/3 cup) Selection pizza sauce
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) Irresistibles Original BBQ Sauce for grilling & dipping
  • 225 g (1/2 lbs) cooked and deboned chicken
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) peppers in a variety of colours, finely diced
  • 250 ml (1 cup) sliced white mushrooms
  • 375 ml (1 1/2 cup) Selection Shredded Tex Mex Cheese Blend

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 230 °C (450 °F).
  2. On a work surface, shape 4 pizza dough disks of 16 to 19 cm (6 to 7 in). Use some flour if the dough is too sticky.
  3. Put the dough on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.

  5. Then garnish with chicken, peppers, mushrooms and top with cheese.
  6. To shape small canoes, firmly pinch both opposite ends of each pizza.
  7. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese melted.
  8. Right out of the oven, let stand for 1 minute and serve with a green salad, or simply let it cool to bring as a lunch.
